minor repaired boo-boo# 2X V Uv Neo DNA Uv Reactive Tie Dye on a Gildan Ultra Cotton PFD (Prepared for Dye) T-Shirt that was dyed using the "Pariah Method": The item was not presoaked in Soda Ash solution. The Procion Dyes (This piece was dyed, in part, using the only dye that is both UV Reactive and Fiber Reactive. Remazol Luminous Yellow FL AKA Psychedelic Sunshine. A Vinyl Sulfone reactive dye. Great effects in blacklight!) were applied to the tied-up shirt and then a strong soda ash solution was applied after the dye was applied. It was then "batched" as normal for 48 hours before washout. This one has a glow in the dark HTV Dave's Dyes ambigram logo ironed on to the hem of the bottom. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Wash with like colors in cold water for first few washes.
# This is another boo-boo caused by Spider Wire fishing line. (I usually use Hercules brand). Like the hoodie I posted previously. Maybe it's my brut strength but I'm definitely going back to Hercules for tie dyeing. A little hole got torn on the upper outside edge of the right sleeve, near the hem. I repaired the area by putting like 5-6 little ladder stitches and then ironing some fusible bonding web and fabric stabilizer on the inside. See Pics. Price Marked down $10.
Below are the advertised measurements for the standard Gildan Ultra Cotton T-Shirts. Please note that this is the PFD (Prepared for Dye) type. The PFD white shirts are made using 100% cotton with cotton threads as well. No optical brighteners are used, and they are not pre-shrunk. They are made with increased body and sleeve length to accommodate shrinkage. Measurements may vary by a couple inches. Check the measurements carefully. Some shrinking and/or minor stretching may occur during the dyeing process. Feel free to message me if you'd like me to re-check any measurements.
